Terms & Conditions
Xander International (HK) Ltd. provides limited warranty service for the products listed on warranty card, details as follow:
1] A valid warranty card and original purchase invoice must be presented upon request of warranty service.
2] This service is not applicable for conditions listed as below:
- Any external and visual damages found on product;
- Accidental damage, neglect, misuse, inadequate volt input, improper installation or testing, unauthorized repair, alteration. Damages directly or indirectly caused by using improper or damaged facility;
- Any torn-off, alteration or broken on the original label.
3] Our company shall not have any obligation for the data of loss or elimination occurred during process of product testing.
4] Service charges may be required for any special circumstances. Any transportation cost will be charged when required.
5] Warranty Service is not included data recovered.
6] This warranty is only applicable in Hong Kong.
7] The warranty terms and conditions will be subjected to change without prior notice.
 
Important Notice for the Warranty Services of Maxtor Harddisk Drive
Regarding to Maxtor's notice on the warranty services of harddisk drive, please be informed that the warranty services of your harddisk drive will be void if the drive has below condition(s):
Void Warranty HDD (Shown as below. Please click the picture for enlargement.)
<1>Top cover dent
 
<2>Un-removable writing/Top cover rusty/Scratched top cover
 
<3>The pin of the connector or the mounting position damage
<4>Maxtor Drive Handling & Void Warranty Criteria
Attention : When you try to detach the HDD cable from the HDD, please make sure you are pulling the cable out in parallel direction; otherwise, the pin of the connector or the mounting position maybe damage.
